Added D-294, D-300 - The Tower is only "the Tower".
- Amended D-319 The city speaks a frontier trade tongue, a pidgin of every realm's words. The climbing and tech vocabulary, fantasy names included (§28), lives in it.
- Going up is said in height and floors: "floor 23", "the highest floor", "climb". Never "depth", "deep" or "descend" for going up.
- People's names follow their realm (§25). The recruit pool mixes realms, as the town does. Added D-400 The Footfolk's own names are a trade-tongue given name and a height (§25).
- Places and creatures take plain English descriptive names: the Lower Galleries, the Cistern Stair, the Coiled Well, Hook-maw, Glass-shell. Names describe bodies, behaviour and places; no builder-flavoured titles.
- Floor ranges above 30 take plain descriptive climbers' names, written as each range is designed (D-330).
- Time is left loose: seasons and dates may be mentioned, but there is no defined calendar (D-327, UNSPECIFIED).
- Names are set: Lowerreach (D-345), the realms (§25), the factions and companies (§27), the Accord (§26). The trade tongue has no name; people say "the trade tongue" (D-346).
