Added D-319 - A trade tongue. The city speaks a frontier pidgin of every realm's words (§32). Everyone speaks it badly at first, and newcomers learn it fast.
- Streets by trade. People live by what they do, not where they came from: hauliers' rows, makers' lanes, hiring yards. Realm matters less than work.
- Realm tech styles. Each realm engineers Tower stone its own way (GAMEPLAY §7): lacquered Sunrise projectors, heavy iron-bound Frostholds rigs, Red Earth steel set with stone. Amended D-364 Each realm's craft is now canon (§25): the reliquary, the rig, the astrolabe, the lacquered case, set like a gem.
- The city-born. People born in the valley are a small, growing people of their own: all realms mixed, the trade tongue native, ranked by height, and proud of it. Amended D-366, D-369, D-370 They are the Footfolk, a realm in their own right, the sixth (§25), with a distinctive culture of their own, not a patchwork of the others; Actives may belong to it (D-368). Their customs are §25; their look is still to be set by concept art.
