Lore · §13

Three material relationships

Human-made — "We make it."

Humans control steel, iron, wood, leather, textile and rope. Purpose-built, balanced, fitted and generally normal human proportions. Familiar medieval/fantasy equipment is acceptable.

Creature-derived — "We reshape it."

Humans can cut, carve, drill, stitch, laminate, polish and fit alien biological material. Biological evidence must remain visible. Creature gear should feel like alien xenobiology processed by medieval craftsmanship, not ordinary animal bones tied to armor.

Possible materials: alien carapace, translucent membrane, internal lattice, ribbed plates, mineralized tissue, tendon-like fiber, unfamiliar shell. Different species should produce different palettes; do not make all creature gear black/xenomorphic.

Tower-adapted — "We adapt around it."

Humans cannot reshape Tower stone.

BROKEN ARCHITECTURE + HUMAN COMPLETION

The seam between ancient Tower stone and recent human engineering must remain visible.
